The Long Mountain Wine Company takes it's name from the dramatic Langeberg (Long Mountain) range, which extends for over 200 kilometers along the edge of the Breede River Valley in the Western Cape region of South Africa.

Established after South Africa's first democratic elections in 1994, it is the Long Mountain Wine Company's philosophy to produce high quality, easy drinking wines, which can be consumed on their own or as a compliment to any meal.

The company's flagship is the Long Mountain range, which is now available in more than 30 countries around the world, and has grown to be the number one selling South African wine in Ireland and a leading player in the competitive UK market. Long Mountain's quality has been recognized by the renowned South African Airways tasting panel who, at the end of 2003, listed it on their flights for the second consecutive year.

In 2004, the Long Mountain Wine Company will be launching exciting new products, so look out for our bottle fermented sparkling wine and a premium reserve range which will be available soon.
